The TOP-FLO® SV2 Sample Valves are specifically designed for taking process samples in the following facilities:

  • Pharmaceutical
  • Biotech
  • Food
  • Beverage
  • Dairy
  • Breweries
  • Wineries

Samples are taken to ensure quality, consistency, taste and sterility. Sampling is extremely important at all stages of production, as it allows for validation of raw ingredients to quality testing at each key processing stage.

TOP-FLO® Sample Valves are designed with minimal dead-leg area within each style valve, keeping internal hold-up volume to a minimum for accurate samples every time.

The most common is the SV2 Right Angle Concentric sample valve.  This style valve has the body located in the center of the inlet connection and the discharge at a 90° angle. Applications include sampling, venting or draining.

The EV2 Right Angle Eccentric sample valve is designed for drainability on horizontal lines. This style valve has the body located off-center at the outside edge of the inlet connection and the discharge at a 90° angle. These valves are often used as a bleed valve on transfer panels.

The IN2 In-Line model is a concentric sample valve. This style valve has the body located in the center of the inlet connection and the discharge is 180° straight through the valve. Applications for this valve are the same as the SV2 and are used where space is limited.
